(Unaligned. Int: 14, Wis: 12, Chr 10)This sentient weapon looks almost like the same sort of farming implement a peasant might use. The shaft is of a worn and unidentifiable wood with a handle about halfway down. The blade is long and made of a dull gray metal with five holes centered down the length of it. If anyone other than a vykati picks it up, it works only as a fairly sharp version of a harvesting scythe.
In the hands of a vykati proficient in the use of the weapon (or even in the use of a scythe as a harvesting tool), the weapon will speak directly to the mind of the holder and ask a single question: “What is the name of the pirate queen’s mother?” Any answer other than “Malita Adida” will shock the holder for the 3d6 points of electrical damage and the character must make a Constitution save (DC 20) to drop the scythe. The weapon will continue to shock the holder each round until he either falls unconscious, or drops the tool.
It does 2d6 slashing damage (2d4 for when Tyler insists on using as it as a blunt weapon) and acts as a +2 magic weapon.
The scythe can communicate with its owner aloud or telepathically, but can be kind of shy when speaking around non-vykati.
The scythe can use the following abilities each once per day:
Cheese feast: Summon five pounds of food. The food can be of any type, but cannot be cooked. It also must contain at least half of the weight as cheese. The food counts as full sustenance, but if it is not consumed within an hour, it disappears. No one wants rotting cheese around.
Butterflight: On each hit, the holder rolls a d20. On a roll of 1, the target will have its next standard action interrupted as a butterfly forces its way out of its mouth.
Fondue Blade: The scythe’s blade becomes covered with fire and increase the holder’s AC by 2 for five (does not need to be continuous) rounds. (Intimidation) In addition, it does an additional d6 of fire damage with each strike. All of the extra damage done by the weapon is returned to the owner as healing. (Cannot exceed hit point maximum)
Three times a week, the scythe can summon creatures to aid it. The choices are: 10 1HD cheese skeletons (these use the skeleton stat block, but are not undead), 2 5HD cheese elementals (use water elemental abilities), or 1 10HD gummi werebear.
